The occasion and its supporters and opponents, the descriptive approachAbstract
The word of the commentators and those engaged in the sciences of the Qur’an since ancient times did not agree on the issue of proportionality, and many of them - even if they agreed on the proportionality within a single verse, or between the verse and its neighbor – but they objected to one or more aspects of the Qur’anic proportionality, and among them were those who objected to the objective unity in The surah, or on the proportionality between the name of the surah and its subject, or on the proportionality between the surah and its neighbor, up to the objective unity in the entire Qur’an, and since it is necessary to say a chapter that shows the face of truth in this problem, this study was in the preface book in the sciences of the Qur’an for the scholar Muhammad Hadi is a knowledge, in order to clarify his vision of the science of the occasion after him, one of the authors’ scholars in the sciences of the Qur’an, and for that, the study aimed to answer a number of specific questions of the problem, the most prominent of which are: Is there a fit between the beginning of the surah and the conclusion of the one before it? Are the verses within the surah appropriate? Then what is the connection of the surah with what is before and after it? Does this lead to the whole Qur’an forming a coherent unit? Does the position of the surah at the beginning of the Qur’an give it a centrality to what follows from the surah? Therefore, the search for an answer to these questions according to the vision of the scholar Muhammad Hadi, the knowledge of Muhammad Hadi, was knowledge of the manifestations of objective unity in the Holy Qur’an, after its confirmation in each of its surahs.
In his study, the researcher followed the descriptive approach that combines extrapolation of the opinion of the scholar Muhammad Hadi on proportionality, balancing and weighting between different sayings.
Therefore, this research was based on three demands, where the first requirement defined the subject of proportionality, and the opinions of its supporters and opponents, and the second requirement presented the aspects and types of proportionality in the Qur’an in the preface book on Quranic sciences. To the existence of objective unity in the Qur’anic surahs and the occurrence of coherence in the entire Qur’an, as well as the acknowledgment of the scholar Muhammad Hadi knowing the proportionality between the verses in one surah and the proportionality between the verses in the multiple surahs
