Abstract

يعد أبو خيرة الأعرابي (- ١٦٥) من متقدمي الأعراب الرواة العلماء الذين أخذت عنهم اللغة وشارك في الرواية والتأليف ، وأخذ عنه كبار علماء العربية الأوائل ، كأبي عمرو بن العلاء (-١٥٤) والخليل بن أحمد (-١٧٥) والنضر بن شميل (-٢٠٣) وأبي عبيدة (-٢٠٦) وأبي زيد (-٢١٥) والأصمعي (-٢١٦) ، وغيرهم ، لذلك تردد ذكره في مجالسهم(١) ومؤلفاتهم(٢) ، أو فيما نقل عنهم(٣) ونهج بعضهم(٤) في التأليف على منواله ، وذكرت كتب التراجم أن اسمه نهشل بن زيد ، وأخذ هذا الاسم مساحته الواسعة في مؤلفات القدماء والمحدثين حتى أصبح علما عليه لا يمكن أن يشك فيه أحد مع أننا نتفاجأ بعدم الرواية عن هذا الاسم عمن نقل أقوال أبي خيرة ، واحتج برواياته ، ولا نجده إلا عند صاحب الفهرست(٥) ومن نقل عنه(٦)، الأمر الذي دفعنا إلى البحث في كنية هذا الراوية العالم واسمه من أجل الكشف عن الاسم الحقيقي له وهو السر الذي بقي مطويا منذ أكثر من عشرة قرون.
