Author Guidelines

The editorial board's of Thi-Qar Arts Journal welcome the researcher's contribution inside and outside the country. It receives the human science researches. The publication in our magazine will be done after it has been evaluated scientifically by the editorial body who are accredited experts of scientific efficiency. The magazine will not accept the researches that will not submit to the following terms and condition:

1- The title of the research  should be fixed in the first page, in addition to the Author's name, his place of work, and his email, orcid ID.

2- The research should be printed on a one side A4 paper and not exceed (20 pages).

3- The research notes should be compiled at the end of the research like the resources and references.

4- The research should deliver 3 hard copies of the size (18 * 24.5).

5- The tables, drawings, pictures, sketches and maps should be put in the end of the Article before the notes, fixed as annexes and referred to the board of the research.

6- The research should be unpublished previously.

7- The research will be notified by the editorial boards of the acceptance of his research within a period of (3 weeks).

8- The published Articles are not allowed to be published unless it has a written note from the editor.

9- The research will not return to the Author  whether they are published or not.

10-  The research bears the legal and moral responsibility in the event that a quotation appeared that has not been referred to.

11- The research is published according to the opinion of the editorial board.

12- The research will be returned to its owners for making the suggested amendments.    

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Personal Information: 1. Academic Title and Full Name in both Arabic and English for all the authors participating in the research 2. ORCID iD for all the authors participating in the research 3. Affiliation (College, University, or Directorate) for all the authors participating in the research 4. University Email or Personal Email (Gmail) if the university one is not available. For all the authors participating in the research
  • Research File Requirements: 1. Research companions in a Word format including all personal data in both Arabic and English. The first page is dedicated to personal data in English (title, researchers’ names, affiliation, abstract, keywords), while the second page is for personal data in Arabic (title, researchers’ names, affiliation, abstract, keywords). 2. Page size: Letter. 3. Footnote system: APA at the bottom of the page.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format tow files 1st write in Names of Authors and 2nd without Names .

Copyright Notice

The journal applies the license of CC BY (a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International  license). This license allows authors  to keep ownership of the copyright of their papers. But this license permits any user to download, print out, extract, reuse, archive, and distribute the article, so long as appropriate credit is given to the authors and the source of the work. The license ensures that the article will be available as widely as possible and that the article can be included in any scientific archive.
