This study aims to address the concept of the poem, the image of the Iraqi poet, Sirkon Paulus, in his collection (another bone for the dog of the tribe), one of the most prominent poets of the modern generation, and poets (the literary group of Kirkuk) that was formed in the sixties of the last century, the poetry they had, headed by our poet, is subject to historical specificity It makes him unique by expressing an ongoing social, political and intellectual life experience, and the feature of the poem is the image of the most prominent poetic content they have, and in this diwan we see the poet very busy with the idea, and this is what explains his resort to the image where our eyes fall in each line of poetry on an intense picture as if the poet thinks pictorially, believing that Poetry must match life and words should have limbs, fingers and senses, which in turn also reflects the multiple outlets of poetry in opening up to the worlds of plastic arts simulation and influence to represent its techniques mentally and mentally through language, so the image is the feature that is characterized by a poet from another, and it is a field highlighting his ability and poetic talent This is because the power of poetry is represented by suggesting through the poetic image, not in expressing abstract ideas or exaggerating descriptions that make feelings and sensations closer to generalization and being D of them to photography and personalization, and then the image was of special importance, as expressing the image makes poetry more transcendent to phenomena and facing the inner truth. In this, they were influenced by contemporary Western poetry rich in the image, and if the term (imagerg-image) appeared in Arab criticism in the seventies of the twentieth century and became the subject of various dialogues and debates, including (literary picture, poetic image, and artistic image), however, as a contemporary literary term for the poem, it is associated with common factors between The poem and drawing in the character (simulation), which is the Latin moral interpretation of the term followed by other concepts such as similarity, transcription and reproduction, and in the Arabic language means the body on which the figure is often inspired by any illusion, that is, the perception of things and they are not real but within a special intense and focused vision that depends on treatment.
