لقد شكلت عتبة التصدير مكانة مهمة في شعر الشاعر عبد الزهرة زكي, فهي عتبة وسطى رابطة بين منطقة المؤلف ومنطقة النص من أجل تهيئة الموقف للانتقال والعبور إلى النصوص منطقة القارئ, إذ يستعير الكاتب مقولة, أو بيت شعر, أو فكرة شهيرة لفيلسوف, أو مفكر, أو شاعر, أو مقوله ذاتية من تأليف الأديب نفسه يؤكد فيها حضوره, ويصدر بها خطابه الأدبي, فهي بوابة مهمة من البوابات التي يتوسل بها القارئ من أجل الدخول إلى أجواء النص وفضاءاته وطبقاته, إذ يسهم في فتح شفرات كثيرة في المتن النصي, فالشاعر يعي قيمة البداية في النص والتي يمهد لها التصدير, فالبداية لدية صورة كاملة يمهد من خلالها للنصر كله, وكذلك نجد عتبة التصدير الغيري (العربي والأجنبي) يساهم في بناء القصيدة بشكل فاعل وقصدية منهجية عالية في رسم نصوصه الشعرية في ضوء دور عتبات هذه النصوص.
