تعد الاستراتيجية التوجيهية من أهم أنواع الاستراتيجيات التي يتوخاها منتج النص؛ بغية تحقيق أهدافه التواصلية والتأثيرية والنفعية ؛ ويحاول هذا البحث الكشف عن الوسائل اللغوية في الاستراتيجية التوجيهية في واحدة من مدونات العصر الجاهلي في حوارية تكونت من مجموعة خطب كان المحور الرئيس فيها خطاب مرثد الخير، إذ تنتمي هذه الحوارية إلى أرقى عصور الفصاحة في لغة العرب؛ مما حدا الباحث أن يتخذها ميدانا تطبيقيا للدراسة ،فانتظمت الدراسة على مبحثين ، ضم الأول منها: مفهوم التداولية وأهمية المنهج التداولي في دراسة النصوص، ثم الوقوف على حد الاستراتيجية، والاستراتيجية التوجيهية، ثم بيان مسوغات الاستراتيجية التوجيهية، أما المبحث الثاني، فقد خصص للدراسة التطبيقية .
