This research aims to trace the phenomenon of death in the poetry collection "You Do Not Own the Directions" by the poet Ahmed Sajet. The reader of the collection's lines notices the frequent presence of the phenomenon of death according to various motives and characteristics. The term "death" has emerged in Ahmed Sajet's poetry, appearing in forms and specters. The lines are laden with motives of pain, sorrow, and loss... It is as if the poet's texts are a source of revelation through which he unveils those valuable experiences, with titles such as departure, withering, dryness, sorrow, and separation.
To elucidate this phenomenon, the research is divided into four sections: the first deals with (the death of the human), the second is titled (symbolic death), the third is (the death of time and place), and the fourth is (death in life).
