تكمن اهمية الدرس التداولي في تحليل الخطاب من خلال استنطاق النصوص وبيان فاعلية المشغل التواصلي ومدى فاعلية الحوارات . كما أن نقطة البداية التي انطلق منها بول غرايس هي الوقوف عند المقاصد القولية وايضاح الاختلاف بين ما يقال وما يقصد , اي التمييز بين ما تعنيه الكلمات والعبارات بمدلولاتها اللفظية وما وراء تلك القيم اللفظية من مقاصد يريد المتكلم ان يبلغها للسامع عبر تحكيم معايير الاستعمال العرفي وادوات الاستدلال , فنشأت عنده فكرة الاستلزام . لذلك تتغيا هذه الورقة البحثية تحليل الحوار في مسرحيات نجيب محفوظ تحليلا تداويا عبر فاعلية الاستلزامات الحوارية التي تنشأ في حوارات الشخصيات , إذ تعد ظاهرة الاستلزام الحواري من ابرز الظواهر التي تميزت بها اللغات الطبيعية , وواحدة من اهم نظريات التداولية . كما تتجلى اهمية هذا البحث في كونه يتخذ من اللغة اداة للتواصل والتحكم في فهم مقاصد الخطاب غير المباشر واستيعابها مع بيان قابلية الحوار في مسرحيات نجيب محفوظ على تجسيد آليات التواصل الضمني
