Abstract

This research aims to explore and dissect the intricate layers of societal discord depicted in the iconic American play, "A Streetcar Named Desire." Focused on understanding the socio-cultural landscape of mid-20th century America as reflected in the characters and their interactions, the study seeks to unravel the underlying tensions, conflicts, and societal shifts that resonate with the contemporary audience.
