The research deals with the most heinous war crime in the twentieth century, when US President Harry Truman ordered the dropping of the first American atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 during World War II, as that bomb caused tremendous destruction and devastation, and left tens of thousands of dead, wounded and homeless. And made Japan think seriously to agree to Potsdam's ultimatum to surrender unconditionally. However, all the justifications provided by the United States of America to allow itself to use the atomic bomb are unacceptable justifications, since its use constitutes a crime of genocide.
