منذ مطلع القرن العشرين وما قبله بقليل, أخذت الثقافة الإنسانية تتجه نحو تكثيف اعتمادها على البعد البصري في تواصلها مع المتلقي, مستثمرةً ما حققه المنجز العلمي من اكتشافات ونجاحات في هذا الميدان, وقد امتدًّ هذا التأثير البصري ليشمل أغلب مناحي الحياة وميادينها, ويجد طريقه نحو مختلف الفنون الإنسانية والنصوص الأدبية التي تنتجها شعوب المعمورة, وقد أفادت حركة الحداثة الشعرية من هذا الجانب التجديدي في المنتج الثقافي, فسعى الشعراء إلى خلق نوع جديد من البلاغة قائم على التواصل بصرياً مع المتلقي؛ لنقل انفعالات وإيصال دلالات نصية, لم تكن بلاغة النص الكتابي قادرة على حملها وإيصالها. إنَّ هذا البحث يعنى بدراسة هذا التوجه في بناء النص الشعري الحديث مستعيناً بنصوص شعرية مختارة من ديوان (حروف اسمك) للشاعر العراقي أمير ناصر, إذ رصد الباحث توظيف التشكيل البصري في شعره عبر ست بنيات بصرية, شكلت محاور الدراسة في هذا البحث, سبقت بتمهيد وختمت بذكر أهم نتائج البحث. وقد اعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي القائم على وصف الظاهرة وتحليل النصوص الشعرية المتعلقة بها. فضلا عن الاستعانة بآليات التحليل النفسي في محاولة إعادة قراءة الدلالات ذات البعد النفسي التي بثَّها الشاعر في نصوصه.
