يُعالج البحث قضية المتعاليات النصية أو العتبات النصية أو النص الموازي في قصص (المظلم والمضيء) للدكتورة إيمان السلطاني ، وهي من إصدارات منشورات أبداع النجف الأشراف للعام 2008م . تناولت فيه تمهيداً نظرياً ثم قراءة في لوحة الغلاف ، تليها قراءة ثانية (تأويلية في العنوان الرئيس) ثم العنوانات الداخلية للقصص ، مراعياً المستوى التركيبي (النحوي) لها ، مع أجراء ملخص لكل قصة ؛ كي يقدر القارئ الكريم الإحاطة بمجريات المحتوى الداخلي لها ، إلى انتهاء مسيرة البحث بدراسة الرابط بين العنونة والنص المقروء (القصة) .
